New OG3-FR Frame

This edition of the Cobalt Digital Inc. price list now includes a new frame called the OG3-FR.  The 8321-CN frame in previous price lists has been replaced by this new frame and will no longer be available for sale.

This edition of the Cobalt Digital Inc. price list now includes a new frame called the OG3-FR.  The 8321-CN frame in previous price lists has been replaced by this new frame and will no longer be available for sale.
The OG3-FR is a 2RU modular frame, designed to accommodate up to 20 openGear® cards. The 3rd generation openGear® frame, OG3-FR combines function, flexibility and  300W of useable power with advanced features like Gigabit Ethernet access to every card slot, and dedicated 21st and 22nd card slots for network control and internal reference distribution, and a front LCD display for easy frame, IP address and fault identification.

The OG3-FR frame utilizes the same rear modules as the 8321 frame in different I/O configurations for select cards, including high density split rear modules.  The new network card, MFC-8322 now comes with the OG3-FR frame and will communicate with existing 8321-CN frame systems.  The MFC-8322 Network card will not operate in the 8321 frame, and the MFC-8321 network card does not operate in the new OG3-FR frame.
